SSL Certificate Installation Instructions
What is SSL? SSL (pronounced as separate letters), is short for Secure Sockets Layer. It is a security protocol that provides communication privacy. SSL enables client and server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.
Do I have to install this? No, you do not have to install this security certificate. However, everytime you navigate to one of NRIMP's secure sites your browser will not recognize the site and ask you if you wish to continue. If you click yes than you can access the site as normal, but this must be done everytime you return to the site (unless, of course, you install the security certficate).

This documentation is designed to walk you through gaining uninterrupted secure access to the NRIMP websites.

Detailed below are the steps to perform this operation with images to ensure success. The appropriate buttons are highlighted in red for ease of navigation.
