Description
- Abstract: The primary purpose of this project is to collect tissue samples for genetic analysis by NOAA Fisheries to determine parental origin of juvenile steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) migrants from Little Sheep Creek
in the Imnaha River Subbasin in northeast Oregon. We also determined migration timing, age structure and abundance of juvenile steelhead migrating from Little Sheep Creek.
-
- Purpose: Initiated in 1989, this study (Bonneville Power Administration Project 1989-096-00) monitors genetic changes associated with hatchery propagation in multiple Snake River sub-basins for Chinook salmon
and steelhead.
