- Abstract: These short reports are intended to inform the public, fishing industry, sportsmen, and fisheries scientists of research conducted by the Fish Commission. Reports will be published from time to time as studies are sufficiently complete. Most of the reports provide biological evidence upon which measures are based to enhance and conserve the fishery resource. Research Briefs are free and may be obtained upon request from the editor. See the Purpose section for the report(s) included in the journal.
