Abstract: These short reports are intended to inform the public, industry, and other interested parties of the current studies of the Commission's staff and of the basis for conservation measures. Reports will be published from time to time when studies are sufficiently complete to provide reliable biological evidence for conclusions upon which regulations are based. Research Briefs are free and may be obtained upon request from the editor. See the Purpose section for the report(s) included in the journal.
