Description
- Abstract: Prior to April 1963, a group known as Troll Salmon Investigations existed
as one of the projects of the Research Division. In April 1963, it became
a part of the newly formed Pelagic Fisheries Investigations. Three years
later this investigation and the Coastal Rivers project were merged to form
the Pelagic Fisheries and Coastal Rivers Investigations. Now, with the
establishment of the state-federal financed Management of the Troll Salmon
Fishery program, research in this fishery again has entity status.
