- Abstract: This watershed analysis describes three domains - the human, the aquatic, and the terrestrial - of the southern one-third of the Yaquina River basin, comprised of Big Elk Creek and Mill Creek, in the central Coast Range. Watershed characterization, issues, reference conditions, current conditions, trends, and recommendations are given.

- Purpose: The objectives of this document are to provide a description of the watershed analysis process, which is designed to meet the Aquatic Conservation Strategy Objectives of the Northwest Forest Plan (USDA 1994, B-10); to explain the rationale behind management recommendations; and to provide guidelines for future planning and project implementation.
