Description

Abstract: This report is a compilation of catch and fishing-effort by area and length-frequency data for Oregon albacore (Thunnus alalunga) landings for 1961 through 1967 and is a continuation of previously published information (Ayers and Meehan, 1963). The collection and compilation of these data were carried out as a routine part of the state research program on marine fisheries.

Purpose: This series has been established for the purpose of distributing large amounts of tabular and graphic reference material. The information may consist of various forms of catch statistics, measurements of environmental conditions and biological data on various fishes. Prior to 1969, this type of information was included in the Investigational Reports of the Fish Commission. These Data Reports are not regarded as scientific publications, but the information contained in them is considered as final and may be cited.
