Description

Abstract: This report is a compilation of catch and fishing effort and length frequency data for Oregon albacore (Thunnus alalunga) landings for 1968 through 1972 and is a continuation of previously published information (Ayers and Meehan, 1963; Meehan and Hreha, 1969). The collection and compilation of these data were carried out as part of the state management and research program on marine fisheries. The National Sea Grant Program through the Pacific Marine Fisheries Commission contributed partial funding for field sampling in 1972 (Sea Grant Number 04-3-158-35).
