Data Quality Information
- Lineage-Source: Version 1 of this dataset was completed in 2001. In most cases the USGS geographic names information system (GNIS) was first used to locate the city containing the facility, this was later revised using either a web-based address lookup service and/or USGS DRG as a background layer.
This dataset builds on the version 1 ODFW Facilities dataset that was completed in 2001. It identifies each ODFW office. In some cases multiple offices exist at a single ODFW facility. Locations were identified via address services or locating via 1995 DOQ's and digitized onscreen. Research facilities and screen shops were differentiated from other office types.
Updates were made to the ODFW headquarters location after the move to south Salem in 2013.
