Abstract: The period May - October of each year is approximately the "summer" season for the Oregon trawlers. Some 70-80 percent of their annual production is achieved during this period. Naturally enough, this is the period when the trawl investigations staff conducts most of its field work.

Purpose: Subsections include: Fleet activities, Laboratory activities, Dover sole sampling, Mink food sampling, Juvenile Dover sole study, Tagged fish returns, Dover sole tagging 1955, Dover sole tagging 1956, Flounder tagging 1951-53 and Landing records
