Abstract: The subject of this report is the razor clam fishery of Oregon; a chronological review and evaluation of the research programs and management carried on by personnel of the Fish Commission of Oregon. The information was compiled from shellfish progress reports, special reports, correspondence with former personnel, personal interviews, and limited personal experience.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to fulfill the requirements for a fisheries project in Field Studies FG 440.
