Description
- Abstract: An investigation was conducted on August 15, 1962, by Oregon Fish Commission personnel to determine what effects mechanical harvesting of clams by gas powered water pumps had on juvenile and adult gaper clams (Schizothaerus nuttalli) in Coos Bay, Oregon. This method of harvesting clams has recently been employed by both personal-use and commercial diggers in the Coos Bay area.
