Description

Abstract: The following tables show all the hydrographic data that have been collected through November 1967 under the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries oyster mortality study contract. This information appears in the quarterly and annual reports as either mean values or ranges, but is presented in the following tables as collected. It is hoped that this information can be used for comparison in areas where high oyster mortalities occur. The methods of obtaining these data and explanation of the seasonal hydrographic patterns found in Yaquina, Tillamook, and Coos bays can be found in the quarterly and annual oyster mortality reports. Tables 1 through S give salinity, temperature, dissolved oxygen. turbidity. and pH data for Yaquina Bay while Table 6 gives temperature and salinity for Tillamook and Coos bays.
