Description
- Abstract: The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) surveyed Tillamook Bay in the summer of 1996 to inventory the bay's benthic invertebrates. The emphasis of the survey was to estimate clam density and biomass in selected areas and habitats. Clam populations were last surveyed in 1974-76 and 1984-85. More recent information was necessary for the management of both the commercial and recreational clam fisheries. In addition, data were gathered on burrowing shrimp, algae, eelgrass, habitat, and benthic infauna from grab samples.
