- Abstract: None

- Purpose: 1. To determine biomass and number of shrimp (Pandalus jordani)
within an offshore survey area between Cape Blanco and Heceta
Head in 50-145 fathoms.
2. To determine age and sex composition of this shrimp stock as
well as average size (number/pound).
3. To compare catches of a research 41-foot Gulf semi-balloon
trawl used in past shrimp surveys, to a commercial 65-foot
Pfister-box trawl, with the nets towed double-rig style from
the same vessel.
