- Abstract: Most of the recent published research on the population dynamics of ocean shrimp (Pandalus jordani) has relied on a series of catch-at-age estimates derived from catch, effort and biological samples from Oregon's shrimp trawl fishery (Hannah and Jones 1991, Hannah 1993, Hannah 1995). The data and methods used to develop area-specific catch-at-age estimates have been reviewed previously by Zirges et al. (1982) and by Hannah (1993). In addition to discussing the methods employed, Zirges et al. (1982) presented detailed data on catch, fishing effort, age and sex composition of the catch and average weight of shrimp (count per lb), for the years 1966-81. The primary objective of this report is to extend the data series presented by Zirges et al. (1982) through 1995.
