Abstract: Tenmile Lakes Basin Partnership (TLBP) monitors chlorine on Tenmile Creek above and below the sewage treatment plant. Interference from naturally occurring Manganese or Chromium were giving false high readings. Testing for those oxidizers first and then adjusting the final chlorine results to take that interference into account has shown that Tenmile Creek is within normal range for chlorine.

Purpose: Check wastewater treatment plant effluent into Tenmile Creek for residual chlorine.
