Description

Abstract: ODFW's Aquatic Inventory protocol was used in 2003 to assess habitat in selected streams (40km total) in the Nehalem basin. Snorkel surveys were also conducted to estimate juvenile salmonid abundance in these streams. This report identifies locations in the survey area where large wood placements would enhance fish habitat. Existing wood placements were evaluated for effectiveness.
