Description
- Abstract: A print-out of temperature and fish count data from the Grant Soil and Water Conservation District. Disclaimer: The Grant Soil and Water conservation District makes no claims as to the accuracy or reliability
of the historic data screened for preservation here. Raw data sheets used to prepare the data base
are on file at the District office, 721 S. Canyon Blvd., John Day, OR 97845 (541-575-0135,
FAX 541-575-0646). Daily screen monitoring sheets remain in possession of the Oregon
Department of Fish and Wildlife at the Screen Shop in John Day, OR.
The highest expectation for the considerable effort expended in compiling and preserving this
historic data is that the data will prove to be an invaluable link in understanding past conditions
and planning for desired future conditions in the John Day Basin. Then, armed with the best
available information, all land managers will be assisted in making the best natural resource
management decisions.
