Description

Abstract: During the field seasons of 1939 and 1940 a biological survey was conducted on the lakes of the Mt Hood National Forest. This work was carried out under a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries, Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, signed March 18, 1935. It is a part of the cooperative program of the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries and the U.S. Forest Service for stream. and lake survey, detailed fresh-water investigations and stream and lake improvement in the National Forest of Region 6, approved June 25, 1937. The Oregon State Game Commission also cooperated in the work and furnished help and advice as needed as a facilities permits.
