Description
- Abstract: The pupose of this document is to track the placement of salmon carcasses in streams. Fish carcass placement is commonly believed to replace some of the nutrients historically available to fish from decaying carcasses no longer present in large numbers. Nutrients provided by these carcasses are cycled through the food chain and become available to salmonids primarily through insects consumed by salmonds as food.
