Description
Abstract: This lengthy report includes chapters on watershed condition summary, introduction, historical conditions, channel habitat types, hydrology and water use, riparian and wetlands, sediment sources, upland conditions, water quality, channel modifications, fish and fish habitat, fish passage, data gaps, summary and recommendations, copious references, glossary, numerous figures and tables, an appendix of stream channel types, and an appendix of a recent culvert and road inventory of the area. 146pp. Data files in Excel contain the habitat surveys done for this report.

Purpose: The goal of the project was to compile baseline data, identify where data are missing and give some idea of where restoration projects could have the largest impact in the Butte Creek basin.

Time Period of Content: historical and current to 2005
Geographic Extent: Butte Creek, West Branch Butte Creek, Deep Creek, Hoover Creek, Stone Cabin Creek, Cottonwood Creek
Status: Final
Use Constraints:
Format: PDF file; data in Excel file containing a template, 6 site sheets, 1 means sheet, 1 graphs sheet

Data Quality Information
Lineage-Source: EPA's EMAP Protocols for Wadeable Streams was used for the habitat surveys.
