Aquatic Inventories Project Guides
Aquatic Inventories Project Field Survey Methods and forms. The methods manual describes the classification of stream habitat at the unit and reach scale. It is intended to be used as a training tool and field reference manual for ODFW stream surveyors. This .zip file also includes all survey forms.
Data Analysis and Report Generation Program (Updated March 3, 2005) This Access 2000 based analysis package facilitates data summary of the detailed habitat surveys. The program includes a data entry interface, and graph and report generators. A DOS based runtime program also is available for users without access to Access2000.
A Guide to Interpreting Stream Survey Reports. The interpretive guide is intended to explain the ODFW Aquatic Inventories Project stream report. The report is generated by experienced project biologists during the winter after the completion of the summer survey season. It describes stream characteristics that have been collected by the field crew. It should be used as a means of understanding the calculations and significance of variables in the stream survey report.

Surveying Oregon's Streams "A Snapshot In Time": Aquatic Inventory Project Training Materials and Methods for Stream Habitat Surveys. This training manual was developed to assist in the training of stream surveyors using a modified AIP survey methodology. This method is less intensive than the complete AIP survey, but should provide significant information about aquatic habitat.
Data Analysis and Report Generation Program for Modified Surveys. A runtime program is available to facilitate data summary of the modified surveys. The program is contained in an executable zip file. The program allows the user to enter data, combine data files, generate reports, and enter summary information into a reach database.
