Biometric and Angler Creel Survey Support

The purpose of the Biometrics program is to provide statistical consulting services and angler creel survey planning and analysis to ODFW staff.

  • Advise ODFW staff about appropriate experimental design, sampling and analysis to answer fishery related problems.
  • Review proposals and reports and recommend experimental approaches and analysis techniques.
  • Plan and analyze statistical creel surveys to with management biologists and researchers.
  • Plan and conduct analysis of fisheries problems of a statistical or mathematical nature.
