Your donations are still encouraged and welcome though, as we are planning to re-open the library again in the future. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Library provides services that are essential to the mission of the agency. These services are made possible in part by the donation of items from other libraries and agencies, and from individuals who have generously donated items from their private collections. These donations have allowed us to collect a wide variety of materials and make them available to our library patrons. There are still some items that we would like to add to our collection, to increase the breadth and depth of the resources we can make available. If you would be willing to donate any of the items below (or the funds to purchase them) we would greatly appreciate it. Wish ListField Guides "Keys to Oregon Freshwater Fishes", authored by Carl Bond, revised in 1973, and published by the OSU Agricultural Experiment Station. Any guides that are laminated or printed on waterproof paper, and can provide assistance with identifying fishes, birds, mammals and/or other wildlife in the field. Books"Fish Passage Technologies: Protection at Hydroelectric Facilities", published by the U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington D.C., September 1995. "Fishes: An Introduction to Ichthyology", by Peter B. Moyle and Joseph J. Cech. Published by Prentice Hall, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, in 1982, 1988, 1995, and 1999.
